Restart Postgres due to slow response

My postgres instance is all the sudden seems to be lagging, starting around 03/29 19:02:30 CST. Is there any where to restart the instance?

yes, do /beta here then you will have access to the database restart in your command pallet

@Brody What is the name of the command? I verified I have beta access in the "Account Settings" but I'm not seeing anything that would indicate a restart

Omg... facePalm I was able to restart, my postgres instance still is lagging super hard, not entirely sure why. Metrics are low, 2% CPU avg over past day, mem ~200-400mb, so nothing crazy there. But doing the most simple query SELECT now() can take multiple seconds

Not to grave dig, but did you mean at the current moment (as in that night) db exp on railway isn't great, or overall it isn't great, withimprovements (hopefully) down the road. It looked like the latency lasted about 4 hours and then resolved. I also didn't notice anyone else mentioning it / reported on the status pages. I have since moved my db back to the previous hosting company but would prefer to move it back to railway assuming it's a rare occurrence.

i love railway to death, but yes overall database experience is not great (unstable, at least postgre and mysql), and im sorry to say this, but you would be better off keeping your data with your previous database provider, or moving it to something like Neon but railway does have plans to fix database issues, but until then i cant recommend databases with railway, see most recent example: https://discord.com/channels/713503345364697088/1091408310269386853
