the most confusing thing you have at the moment, is a black header on a white page, but you are indicating this is the dark mode. If you are going to have both a dark and light mode, the first area of focus would be to make this dark version much darker other than that, if you align the header contents to match the width of the page container, it will look nicer and maybe add a logo or some little graphic next to the brand name if you want some more visual interest for your page, the heading line height is way too much. You want to tighten it up a bit so the 2 lines are closer. Or, find a snappier, shorter heading like 'Wanna see a rabbit?' and maybe try adding some more font weight to it and the layout is pretty simple, just a standard 2 column text/image. In the case that you use this style, you want your image to have as much visual interest as possible, either by finding a much more dynamic image, of resizing it in a more pleasing aspect ratio, or giving it a more unique shape than just a rectangle hope some of that helps 🙂

Please do not use white text on dark backgrounds, use a light gray. I like the combination of 800 (bg) and 200 (text) from TW (you can just copy the values, if you aren't using it) https://tailwindcss.com/docs/customizing-colors

Why not? As long as the dark color isn't contrasting so much to hurt peoples' eyes (in this case it's not) it should be fine. If you use light gray on their dark blue it might not contrast enough

On the macs display that image was already slightly uncomfortable for me, on my 20year old monitor its fine.
