(slight) resistance on one end of linear rails: de-racking vs using y-gantry to align rails?
I'm noticing a small amount of resistance on my Y rails towards the back of my v-core 3.1, which isn't there on the front half. I read on Ellis' guide that this could be the cause of some VFAs I'm noticing on the prints. Elli's guide recommends de-racking, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it with the v-core, and it occurred to me that I can probably just loosen the linear rails on the y axis slightly, move the gantry back and forth so it sets in the right position and then tighten it them again. Would this be a terrible idea that will cause me other problems?
