how dafuq rr works... Cuz i just now got 20 kills died 19 times had 5 assist still got a -30 and there were 3 teammates below me

It's not based on kills
Probably got destroyed like 5-13 score and then you were playing in a lobby of players valorant thinks you can destroy which did not happen
Alr so someone correct me if im wrong but ill try and explain this to the best of my understanding. :)
So for starters if you win or lose the match is going to determine whether or not you lose rr or gain rr so for obvious reasons if you win the match you will gain rr but on the flip side of things if you lose you will have some rr taken away.
Now just because you lose doesn't mean you will have a big chunk of rr taken like you had given in the example, just like if you win you may only gain a few rr.
Now this is largely based on the fact that your KD wasn't very good, as you going 20/19 is just barely keeping you out of going negative. Now there can be many reasons why you had so many deaths and tbh im not going to put that on you, you may have had an off game or just your team was outmatched skill wise so even though you managed to kill them a couple of times you practically died every round after killing one or two people. (just remembered that blaming your team for being the reason you are stuck in said rank isn't a good mindset to have or even that great of an outlook on it, thats why we are going to cover some things that is more about self reflection and how to deal with certain things).
Now how to improve your KD? Well this may be tough to find out as you may struggle to find where you lack skill wise, whether its that you are giving incorrect comms, your aim could genuinely use some work, your mental, game sens, or just teamwork in general you'll have to find it to help you get a better understanding of why you are losing sm rr.

Now ofc me saying this doesn't really help you truly find what skill(s) are lacking. So here are some ways to find out.
Firstly take a step back and look, are you always top frag? Ik this may sound controversial since you want to increase your KD, but especially in low elo if you are always top frag chances are you are not contributing to your team with 100% of your full potential, this is because (from what I've heard and read) riots system tries to queue you up with people of similar skill level, so automatically that means you shouldn't be out fragging the rest of your team by over 20 kills kind of a thing, ofc you can get an odd ball where your team isn't great but thats a whole different situation.
Now if you may think that you have this issue I'd suggest to watch a few videos by known creators who explain how to contribute better to your team and team work in general this could be anything from having more accurate comms or playing with a end goal to win the round instead of rushing on site with no real plan or any info about the enemy's team positions, after that feeling a little more understanding of what it is like to play as a team try to apply these newly learned skills into your games, I would suggest playing spike rush or unrated since it doesn't have an impact on your rr and really focus on the contributing aspect and less on being kill hungry and after a while you may find this kind of stuff comes more naturally to you. I find kill hungry players (although have their advantages which can be used to your advantage tend to lean towards the toxic side of things and blame everything on their teammates) but if you do happen to come across one of these toxic kill hungry players dont worry as not all hope is lost! They can still be useful. I suggest using them as bait to get info on site entry or for a trade to help your team (although I don't recommend using this tactic outside of this situation unless everyone agrees upon doing so) aslong as everyone is aware it should be fine. 1. because now the aggressive player is aware of the plan they will either keep being aggressive and going along with the plan or 2. they will try and play more as a team since they don't want to be baited. :) But if this teammate is actually being toxic to the point it is violating riots guidelines please do not retaliate as this will one give them a reason to report you and put your account at risk but also you will be giving them the reaction they wanted (you can't fight fire with fire my friends:) ). Instead try to report them and if necessary mute them in voice chat and in text chat.(3/6)

Now for improving your aim I can almost guarantee that unless you are secretly TenZ this is something you need to work on.
Try and figure out how often you are hitting head shots when killing people no one is perfect but practicing your aim is so important, I've also found that all maps have certain marks for where a players head hight will be try aligning your crosshair with those hight markers and the more you practice doing it the more you will find that you don't need the head markers anymore. Practice makes better (not perfect lol).
Now for game sens, I'm going to be straight up with you, other than doing a bit of research and learning from the best of the best the only way this can be improved is by playing the game more often. Just like in sports its very hard to teach someone game sens because its more of a thing you gain with playing over time from experience.
But I will say that most of these issues can be fixed with research, playing the game more often, and being self aware during your games (not being on auto pilot) try and be actively thinking about things you need to work on.

genuinely nothing to be done riot knows things like wifi cutting out can happen which is why you have 2 warnings before you start getting small punishments but it builds up over time. They dont want to allow people to get off scotch free because of the internet going out BECAUSE 1 it is ruining 9 other players 45 minutes and 2 they cant tell if someone pulled the plug or you had no control. if they allowed this every game has disconnects. If you accept your mistake you will wait the time lol
