Fps drops
Helloo ! I have seen recently that when i am playing valorant i get a lot of fps drops but on games like overwatch my game is around 200fps without any drops,
I have a rtx 3060 and a ryzen 5 2600 with 16go of ram i know there can be some bottleneck but i dont think its that.. I would like to know if there is any solution to fix that ?

i have nvidia geforce experience for my graphic card
but what other component should i update ?
val is a cpu heavy game so its most likely due to your cpu not being able to keep up with your gpu
so i cant do anything ? except changing my cpu ?
one thing i did with my old pc is just close things in the background like steam epic etc
if you havent updated your drivers in a bit i recommend that
if valorant is on your boot drive and its getting full that could also play a part in it

i recently switched valorant from my hdd to my boot drive which is an ssd cause i saw that in some games it helps a lot for drops but it seems like nothing has changed, i did that and I have like 60gb free on my ssd so i think its ok..?

Last time I saw a post on Reddit that was saying that armory crate could be the issue
So I uninstalled it but idk if it changed anything
i closed steam that was in the background but i didnt see any changes

@ev3__ is it like, out of nowhere your FPS touches 25-30 range? for a solid 10 seconds? then its back to normal??
NO not that much but sometimes it can be around 180 fps then 130 or even sometimes around 90.. If i had a bad screen I wouldn't mind but I have a 144hz so when it goes under 144fps it feels
especially with my configuration, I dont think it's normal to get 130 fps with a 3060..
