For recording, you'll want to use:
Target Usage ->
Quality or veryslow. If veryslow causes encoding lag then switch to faster presets like slower or slow or medium
Normally I would recommend using a Rate Control of CQP but at the moment the OBS release notes says that it is not fully working. Until it does work, using VBR with bitrates around 35mbps to 50mbps should be fine for the the time being.
Once CQP is fully working in a coming release, I would recommend a CQP Value value of 22-26. Lower values are higher quality, but will tax the GPU encoder more and the file sizes will be bigger. IF you still think that a CQP of 22 is not good enough then you can realistically go down to CQP 14
