Can you please be more clear, Which element is going to have the hover? And which will need to change?

this is why it's suggested to add code to your question, it's much easier for people to think and talk about your problem if they understand what it is, and just saying "how" isn't going to help do that. I'd suggest making a codepen, so that people can see what you mean exactly
