remuxed videos are cutting time off videos
so i was remuxing 2 videos one had 20 minutes off end cut off and the other had 6 minutes cut off which was most the clip , there wasnt any errors from recording it since obs didnt tell me there any problems with it after i stoped recording

Try Remuxing from ffmpeg instead, or use it to transcode to a format like prores from the mkv file
did the drive the files are being transcoded to fill up?
no the drive still has good bit of space no error message poped up either after stopping it or a freeze like if it cant stop recording
i usually remux with obs unless obs isnt doing it right for some reason

like i saw it get to 97% or 92 i think then just skipped to 100%
If it hangs when you hit stop recording and had issues stopping, then the encoder probably crashed far earlier so there’s not going to be anything to recover. But worth transcoding the mkv
i know that, what im saying is that there was nothing that happened like that to suggest som,ething went wrong with it
Well then I gave some suggestions. With no obs errors, nothing else to work with
if im lucky i think this was at beginning of chapter in game so i could just re record that part and hope nothing happens , thanks anyways
hmm wierd i remuxed it on other pc and it was able to remux all of it
i might have an ideo it wasnt the video but maybe it didnt trasport right from nas
That's wierd the other video remixed properly on other pc too hopefully something isn't wrong with other pc that's making it cut them out
