VC3 500 w/AWD
I just stalled AWD and when checking input shaper, I'm getting poor results. Wondering if it's a binding issue or something else. If it is binding I haven't figure out how to fix it. Been adjusting belt tensions and that's about the best I can get.

Did you sync the steppers? What AWD mod are you using?

Marvs. I did(I believe I did it right), I home printer and lossen the idlers on motors and allowed them to rest and re-tighten (not on flat spot)

Dont you have a front extension?
absent-sapphireOP•2y ago
It's lower.

Maybe its too low?

Id check for binding and so that toolhead is snug and not vibrating. The 125hz always indicates when my toolhead needs tightening on the 500.
Move it as high as possible for best brace of the frame

I tighten everything already bit it won't hurt it check again.

How thick are the AWD plates? If its 4mm you need an extra 1mm washer below pulley
absent-sapphireOP•2y ago
I believe 3mm. They look lined up

Little better but not really.
Rebuilt toolhead to make sure it was tight and inserts were good.

Try tension your belt abit more lower is way off and see what happens

Looser is a bit better. I'll mess with it more tomorrow. After this I'm not sure what else

Need to fix y

No clue what could be wrong? I tighten every bolt
The only thing I think it is, is when I pull the x gantry by hand, once in a while the tool head moves side to side. It looks like it's in the same area (y coordinate).
@squeegiee any thoughts?

That would indicate binding

I thought so, I just can't find where.
I guess I can rebuild all idler stacks again.

So you have FMMM in the back?
absent-sapphireOP•2y ago
Sorry I don't remember what FMMM was but those are my back ones.

Try rise that pulley a little and give it a go
absent-sapphireOP•2y ago
I'll make sure that it's higher and the others a centered.
Did notice the belt walking up and down a bit (new gates belt)

Remember to resync steppers every time you tension the belts

A lot better. Still minor issues but better.
