I was connecting to
localhost:22.ahh fun localhost stuff, guessing your ssh server was only listening on IPv4 or something
ssh -6 localhost works finestrange, you could try changing it to 127.0.0.1:22 and seeing if that can make the eyeballs happy again (I mean it wouldn't be used at that point if you specify a specific protocol, but it sounds like somehow your IPv6 is misconfigured in some way)
or just keep them unhappy
