Cold
after heating to 100*C bed in chamber (11:22)
after 10 minutes (11:32)
after 30 minut from heating up (11:52)
after 1h from heating up (12:32)
after 1h and 10 minutes from heating up (13:42)
After another hour (15:48)
After another three hours (17:22)
When printing ABS in the chamber, I have a problem with the first layer,
When I run another printout, the first layer is higher or lower.
This is very inconvenient because I would have to calibrate the first layer before each printout
When I print PLA without a chamber, the first layer is always perfect
probe: SuperPINDA
How to fix it? Replace the probe with something else?
This is bed heating without printing
printed one after the other.
I have my minion enclosed, printing ASA all the time, similar chamber temps and i have no such issue. It looks like your X arm might be lifting with heat, which doesn't really make any sense.

This is interesting - So it's possible to enclose the minion within a heated chamber (65-70... 80degC) without any issues to the printer? The reason I'm asking is because I was going to enclose the VCore3.1 but I'd rather enclose a minion as I'll only be printing smaller mechanical parts in ASA etc.
Yes if you print the parts in ABS or ASA. If you go above 60 i'd get high temp steppers though, they won't last long in there. You're gonna need active heating to get above 50. Its the same concerns as with everything else. The V-Core 3.1 is designed to be enclosed, the v-minion is not (to the same degree), but it's still doable.
And of course you want the electronics outside.

Many thanks for this info - What's your target ambient temp for the chamber for smaller (ie 100x100x30mm) mechanical parts in ASA?
50 works well for 3DO ASA.
45 works too, but 50 is better

Excellent - thanks
@miklschmidt Not to hijack the topic here, but your chamber is the still-not-released enclosure for V-Minion, or a self build one?
still-not-released enclosure for v-minion
😦
Will I get help or will you write about some other printer?
I'm not sure how to help you, something is sagging, check your x gantry bolts.
Everything is tightened. I even replaced the aluminum profile
possibly make sure your x-rail screws aren't overtorqued.
like, go easy on them
The entire X-axis is reassembled including the EVA
Please help me. I want to finally print ABS parts
literary-plum•2y ago
which material are your v-minion parts made of?
PETG? ASA? ABS?
something is getting loose or soft in the heat
maybe the probe mount?
ABS
it's probably not possible. even if something happened to the handle, the result would still be good. it's more like something with the X axis but I don't know what exactly.
@McAbra masz jakiś pomysł?

let's take it to the #polish channel if you need aid in Polish
that said I'm not sure I will be able to help you, as I understand you were printing between the tests, I'd look for mechanical fault rather than anything thermal
would have been helpful if you tested the level after everything cooled down - does it go back to the desired level once everything is cool?
PINDA is a proper one or something from Ali? Although I would not blame it (maybe but maaaybe the wire acting up when it's bent while being closer to X0)
I didn't print between tests. After cooling down it returns to 0.05mm. PINDA is original from Prusa
???????????
I’m sorry, none of us has seen this before. Short of the suggestions we’ve told you for debugging, there’s not much we can do. Have you tried printing?
