weird surface artifacts

I am tuning my printer and was doing an acceleration test and got a really weird finish, the print feels rough like shark skin, which I hadn't seen before so was wonder what caused it, on on rrf with an accelerometer and the vcore 3.1, current test was 150mm/s, with starting accel at 1000mm/s/s going up to 6000mm/s/s

did you tune PA before? there are some ripples close to the corner which indicate not. also, which type of filament and extrusion factor?

I have not retuned my PA, I am not sure if there is any linear advance set in the teaching tech gcode I downloaded, as for filament its matterhackers PLA at 220F

I have a very similar issue too after upgrading to v1.1, played a lot with acceleration, belt tension, motor currents, changed orbiter motor to the one is used on 1.5, different input shapers, temps and so on. The only part that looks good is the slow printing overhang with around 40-60mm/s. Printing outer walls with 100mm/s still shows this issue. I am at 10k acc, on 6k and 4k this issue still exist. I don't know what is causing this issue but I printed very fast with perfect quality before. After the Upgrade I have to reduce the speed to 1/10 to get anywhere near good quality so there is definitely anything very wrong on my printer

I found out my issue was a lack of flow rate, I wouldn't have the issue when I printed at 100mm/s but when I did up the speed its when I had the issue, i did upgrade the nozzle to one of those fancy bontech ones and that has helped. Have you tried cleaning your nozzle for a potential blockage?

something is faulty, i changed so hottend today, the other one was clogged, now im getting vertical gabs in my walls, a sign of under extrusion or a clogged nozzle, i can push filament through the nozzle with hand smooth as f**k. so no problem there, solid layers are printing fine, printing a solid part no problem, but there the walls are looking ugly too, even when printing low speeds&accels

Try to put the temperature higher, i've had pretty the same issue while I was printing in very high flow around max flow of the filament, maybe you have some issues with extruder like skipping steps?

i opend another thread because i think my problem is anotherone, but yes already tried different temps, didnt did the trick
