Home z not probing center of bed
can someone tell me what i am missing.. When i do z tilt the probe does middle back but when i home for z the nozzle is in the center of the bed not the probe. How do i get the probe to probe center of the bed when it is homing z. Ratos prelease latest version for the manta M8P 500 build with euclid probe, bmg extruder and mosquito hotend. I am not well versed in this so dumb it down what i need to do.. Please and thank you..

The Nozzle being at the middle after homing is actually what you want. So nothing wrong with that. If the probe just uses some little offset for Homing, that is kinda ok, since you won't have much deviaton from the middle to the offset of the probe.
Since you do a mesh before every print, which maps either the whole plate (stock) or the printing area (pam) this does not matter and you can leave it like this
o ok thanks just thought that when homing the probe would need to be in the middle for homing so that from the center then out it could do a better map of the bed. since it is home bed ( not in center with probe ) then z tilt then home again ( probe not in center )
but if ya say its no prob then i will not worry about it

just seems like you would want to probe z home in center of bed with the probe and not off to the front left some. center of bed for nozzle is 250X 259Y but probe center is 280X and 275Y so was thinking it would home with probe center ( 280x 275y )

You have to differenciate between homing and probing. And when probing, the probe should actually go to the middle, but you usually only probe while meshing, so the points where it does that depend on your mesh-size and points
ok so then when it is probing for home of Z the probe is not center of bed
it homes x then y then when going for z the probe is not center of the bed is what i am talking about.so is that right or when probing for z home with the prob it is nozzle center of bed not probe.. for first probe of Z
i might be not saying it right but it sounds right in my head.. š sorry if i am confusing ya

for homing, it does not matter if the probe probes the exact center or somewhere around the center
got it
