So I know feather Client is incompatible, but how exactly?
Like, what issues arise because of the mod?

Well, you shouldn’t use feather client in general

But other than that, iirc feather changes how mixins work and modifies parts of Minecraft’s code that we are calling causing it to crash

Feather client was not made for compatibility. It was not made with that in mind. Feather was made to be an FPS client, not make it so all of your mods would seamlessly work.and
Also, they modify mixin internals, which can break during a relaunch.Generally it’s better to just use fabric and download each of the mods which boost your fps yourself, or you could just use a mod pack like fabulous optimised to do it for you. This would also have the benefit of being compatible with more mods.
