Blobbing issue after a few layers for a few layers

Hello, I am having blobbing issue after a few layers for a few layers and I am not sure what is causing it There are 6 perimeters and it only happens for some models All these prints except for the vase mode have the same print parameters (60 bed, 200he) and it's amazonbasics satin PLA I also tried to change printing the perimeters first but the outcome is the same Using an air pump for cooling, which seem to work pretty good. I tried adding a big fan above the printer when reprinting one of the small models with not change in the result Any idea ? I will try with an other roll of filament but I am not sure that's the issue as first layers are ok and then the rest of the print is ok too Thanks

Forgot the %sign in fill overlap ? That wouldn't explain vase mode issues though Or overextrusion in general

The vase mode is actually fine and other geometries have no problems either

Then check the infill overlap, if you accidentally specified mm instead of %, it will go past the walls

I don't think I changed that setting, will check thanks

Should be visible in slicer gcode preview

and this should show one of the layers that fails, so basically solid maybe over extrusion but then I don't understand why it fixes itself later and why the layers before are fine too

Wait... The walls are straight? You have a huge bulge

maybe the initial overhang is too steep, but I quickly made a similar shape with 72degrees overhang and it seems to print more or less ok, no bulging anyways

Could be the pla curling up How does the print look higher up?

it looks fine it is just these few layers, no issue before, no issue after I was thinking it could be some leadscrew issue or some binding, but then with other geometries the problem is not visible I wonder if it could be linked to cura's new enging with varying line width maybe conflicting with pressure advance or something

I meant the preview

oh sorry

its only solid layers but sometimes there is thin lines or wide lines doesnt seem the overhang is the issue or the cooling (even though it is not enough cooling for this steep overhang)

Yeah over 60% is difficult

with a raft it seems there is less bad layers, maybe the same size as the raft ? still can't figure out what is going on

Why is the raft shit? That doesn't have overhangs right? Did you watch it print?

for the raft it was just the beginning that had no material I think and big layer lines after tryuing disabling pressure advance and other, I tried slicing with prusa slicer instead need to adjust some settings but the artefacts are not present
