Changing between Iris-Optifabric modpacks break the multiplayer-generated chunks.
I've recently tested some mods, before i uninstalled them and restored the old modlist. After that, even if I did not join the server at all, the chunks have stopped loading, even if the server's lod folder is still on my PC.

Make sure your DH config file is the same between both versions.
This generally happens when the vertical quality is changed (the different vertical quality’s are stored differently so they have to be recreated. This won’t be an issue in the next version).
