Credit-Base Subscription
Hi I just wanted to make sure I understood how the Developer Plan worked when using Credit-Based instead of Usage-Based.
- If I were to go with this option, would how I have it filled out give me $1 in addition to the free $5? (I'm assuming credits just mean dollar amounts?)
- Would this charge me this amount every month? Or would it only charge me every time I add money?
- If I added $1 on November 1st through this method, for example, I should have $6 total and unlimited hours for that month unless I use up all $6 and then all of my projects would shut down automatically? (I wouldn't rack up charges if it is used past the $6?)
- If I use this method, I would only spend $1 and not have to pay again unless I go through this same method to add more money?
- If I do not use up all free $5, would the $1 that I added carry over to December?
I've read the documentation and this seems to be the process to limit how much is spent but wanted to double check before switching to the Developer Plan. Thank you so much!

the minimum credits you can add are 5, which correspond to $5 in usage, and it rolls over each month until you run out, at which point you’re demoted to the free plan
you’re only charged when you add credits and if you choose to add more credits at a later date
the normal $5 you get each month is still replenished
Ok that's good to know! And thank you so much!
