Now, what I will say is interesting is the "I feel like it should comment," because... well, some ults do actually give ult charge as a reward. Mainly, Resurrection.
Here's the thing. Let's say you revive someone and then they die later.
Each death is a +1 to their ult charge, so the ult itself is basically a +1 since it lets them get that +1 later down the line.
(Ideally, that wouldn't happen, but the point is that ults can do this.)
So if KAY/O received an update that caused that, I'd say it'd be fair as long as they added +1 to his required points.
