Generating a CSR code for my Railway project
Hey! I've added a custom domain to my Railway project which is requiring a SSL Domain Setup.
name.com requires me to get a CSR code from my hosting platform, which is you guys, Railway. Please assist me regarding this.71 Replies
Who is your domain provider? We already generate SSL certs for you. There should be no need for this.
you dont need to purchase certs yourself, we generate free SSL certs for custom domains automatically

just add a CNAME record pointing to the railway subdomain and we handle it
Where do I add the CNAME record? I think I've done this before but I don't remember where exactly
under DNS management
What do I fill?

name.com is automatically converting my CNAME value to lowercase and Railway is giving this error
When I try changing this to lowercase, it gives the following error

There's a hefty workload on me with academics and my website's launch but I'll definitely find time to send a PR
My friend recommended to switch to Azure or some other platform but I simply personally like it here
Railway's where I started and it's definitely where I want to continue
