personally i'd add more padding to the entire container, change the color of the blue cta so it doesn't clash with the gray background and align the word toolbox with the icons below. also, you may want to align your footer width with the width of the container

I think there should be much more whitespace between the items in the content container. I understand that you are probably trying to keep it to one page but I don't think it's worth it

I would definitely look at doing the above recommendations. Further, I would suggest that the main issues with this layout are: 1. Text density. Even though you have fairly good visual hierarchy, because there is so much text and because it is so smashed together, it makes it very difficult to read or follow. Also, there is no 'flow' from top to bottom or headline/paragraph to next headline/paragraph, so my eye is wandering all over the place trying to figure out what to read first. 2. your color scheme: I am a huge fan of Ukrainian blue/yellow, but I get the sense that you have chosen these colors simply to match the virsual graphic colors. Also, grey is a dangerous shade because it wipes out contrast and washes away vibrancy. I would definitely think about swapping these out to a different palette. 3. Your visuals. You have 2 contrasting visual types: the super realistic dark earth background, and the free / generic IT construction worker image. Between the two, I would probably prefer the earth background. But to be honest, I don't think you want either of these images on your portfolio page. Something simple and abstract that doesn't take away from your text would make a better background, and maybe even mean you could get rid of the grey box around your text And, the free vector image, is just too generic, if you want a visual there, pick something more personal or that you are connected to, and definitely not something that comes from a free online source that the recruiter has probably seen a million times already What I would suggest, is to nuke all the colors and visuals, and then lay out only the text in black on white until it flows easy and reads smoothly (*and responsively). And from there, you can start to slowly introduce some color or visual design cues, but not too many, because in the end, the only thing you want people who are hitting your CV page to see, is your CV. Good luck!

You need whitespace in between the elements of the main Grey section
