Timescaledb 2.7?
Looks as though postgres tables are on timescale 2.1, though it says it uses the latest docker image.
There are some important 2.7 features missing; distinct counts in aggregates, order by, filters etc https://docs.timescale.com/timescaledb/latest/how-to-guides/continuous-aggregates/troubleshooting
is there a way to update our postgres db to the ts2.7?

Railway docs also say that..
The Postgres database service uses the timescale/timescaledb-postgis:latest-pg13 docker image. https://docs.railway.app/databases/postgresql
but the link to the image doesnt match the text; and the text reference is no longer maintained https://hub.docker.com/r/timescale/timescaledb-postgis
I want to love railway but only provisioning on us-west is tough, and this is tough too. Are there any solutions in the works?
Hey @Sentry -
1. We need to update the image to
timescaledb-postgis-ha
, I am going to raise a ticket with our Eng. team to see if we can swap that out.
2. You and me both, the better news here is that it's looking closer from that ticket you commented on (I believe it was you) for Multi-region. We are working on the last pieces of foundational infra upgrades to be in place before we set up a new region target.Good to hear, thanks Angelo!
Having to dip out of railway for this - 2.1 timescale doesnt have half the features needed (2.8 latest) but I'll be back as soon as it's sorted @Angelo
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help
Sure thing, forgive me, we have been dealing with builder and tangential things but I will ping you as soon as it’s resolved.
you've got this!
hi @Angelo I am facing the same issue.
Can we manually update?
hi @Sentry do you happen to have a solution for this one?

Hey @Antonio_cl I ended up moving over to hosted timescaledb.com
It's a massive shame because the latest features are must haves. I wish I could have stayed with railway but for tsdb, I couldn't make the compromise.
sorry, man. I just wanted an update on your end.
ohh i see. Will see what to do then. Thanks for the update
It's well worth railway updating this if they're able. I imagine it could be a ballache
Good luck! Sorry I didn't have good news for ya
