Estimated price
Hello everyone! I really like how slick the railway interface is looking and how easy it was to setup my services. The whole pricing section is quite demanding though. Having upgraded to the Dev-Plan and therefore applied my credit card, I have absolutely no plan if, when or why I will be charged.
Currently I'm seeing two numbers, the month-to-day usage, which is $0 – with a subtotal of $0.19. Then my project I've been using for a little bit less than a week now. Which is estimated by $2.58. What number do I have to have in sight?!

Yes! Any usage under $5 is free
See the Discounts line on the top bar.
To add more clarity, the estimated usage you’re seeing is the cost based on the estimated usage for that project.
Yes, I'm aware of this! I've read other questions in this Help-Section and learnt, that the gray number is the estimate what you have to pay on top of the $5. But which number counts now?
Whereas the estimated bill is the amount you’re expected to end up paying this month.
Estimated bill is the amount we estimate you’ll pay.
It is calculated based on the estimated usage of all your active projects - the monthly discount.
So if I understand this correctly, it doesn't matter what estimate it shows on each project, the breakdown of the estimated bill is what counts by the end of the month?
Exactly, yes
