Cannot import levels and role data from Polaris

So as I've said like a week ago, I have been trying to import levels/xp data from Polaris to Lurkr using the "/importxp" command but nothing seems to work, the bot says "An unknown error occured. Please, try again later." I've tried using the website/dashboard itself and it still says the same. I've been told that there could be two reasons: 1 - The leaderboard (of Polaris) is private or does not exist...

Hey so, I just invited Lurkr to my server but everytime I access the https://lurkr.gg/guilds thing and click on my server, it instead leads me to the Discord page to add the bot to the server even though I've already added it.

Level Roles

So I just realized that whenever I added Pepe Manager back almost 2,5 years ago now, it for some reason didn't get the privileges to manage roles. I imported the levels from MEE6 and removed its ability to reward roles on level-up back then, therefore no member has been getting their level roles. I searched and saw that CmdData mentioned that it's not possible to sync everyone's roles for performance reasons. So now I'm wondering what the best course of action is to assign members to the appropriate roles. Do I just have to let it be, and wait for members to reach the next tier?...

Solution:

Yes, if your members keep chatting and gaining XP/Leveling up they will automatically synchronize assuming the permissions/hierarchy is set correctly.

Level message

I configured everything correctly in the message that says that a user has leveled up on your server, but even if you level up, the message will not appear.

Solution:

Check the specific channel. If the /config check command shows that it's missing permissions it is missing them either in the role or the channel

Time to gain experience

I understand that the time to gain experience from messages is 80 seconds, but I would like it to be 60 seconds, is there a way to solve this?

Role Parameter

So, I've read the documentation and these are the Parameter's on the site. I'm assuming it's not a thing since it's not listed but want to double check. Is there no way to add into the Level Up message what rank was awarded due to their level up?...

Is there any way to change the time of the cooldown for gaining xp for chatting in the server and custom a custom cooldown per role? And lastly, what is the xp cooldown per message now?...

Bot removes reward role

So I'm having this problem where the bot will remove the reward role givinafter reaching a certain level, example reward role is level five, after reaching level 10 reward role is removed by bot and givin back at level 15, I'm not sure if it's something I did but I can't figure out how to disable this. would appreciate any help

Solution:

Under "XP Role Rewards" you can see that the bot doesnt have permission to assign the level 10 role reward. You can use /config troubleshoot and the bot will list all issues you're having with permissions...

background rank image not showing

Hi! I've tried it multiple times but the background image is not showing at all. It's always the default one. When i use /background view then it does show me the image which i am using for the background, but when i use /rank then it doesn't show.

All roles deleted upon re-entry

Lurkr is not set to delete roles in my server, except that the level rewards are not stacked. It was working fine until I added a new level role which was supposed to be added for each level a reward is given, now lurkr is deleting all the roles a user is autogranted by Carlbot when they come back to the server. How is it even doing this and how do I fix it?

Hey You know when someone leaves the server and rejoins back how do I stop Lurkr automatically adding a level role onto that level as it’s bypassing the verification process...

Solution:

You can automatically reset levels from people who leave or are banned but unfortunately that's not something we considered. If they have a level on your server it would imply they've already gone through the onboarding

How do I make a level card when a user levels up?

I want to show the Avatar of the user or have a level up picture or something. But if I use the {user.avatar} thing, only a link shows up instead of the picture.

Hi! I was wondering if I could set up the level up message to include the role in it. An example would be, "Congrats! You have reached level 10! You are now Tier 1!"

Lurkr removing onboarding roles

Hi, I noticed earlier within my server that when Lurkr autoroles someone after 5 minutes it removes the chosen roles from the server onboarding. Is there anything I should do?

I have been monitoring the audit log and it seems to be fixed now. Bot is only giving out the autorole 🥳

Need to setup a channel for members to check their levels

hello so i am trying to setup 2 channels one that will show the rank up announcements (locked for members) and the other one will be where the users are allowed to use the /rank command so that they can view their xps and ranks now the thing is i just want the members to be able to use only the /rank command no other bot commands can someone guide me how i can setup that for the channel permissions or something on bot config ?
