For sure. If the connectivity isn't there, luckily there are a few easy spots to add a wire. 👍 Here is a view of the 4 signals connecting the MCU to the ICs -- If only half the board is working, I'd look extra hard at "CD", since that's the one that switches between the two ICs (one controls each board half)
Sometimes the wrong pressure on a pad can crack the connection between the pad and the trace. It can happen with bad luck honestly, it's not even certain that you messed anything up.

Np! Luckily with the through hole board, even if you lose a connection there is usually some way to get it back with a bodge wire....which is nice for tinkering at least.
