Warcraft III used to have such a spammy overlay it hurt. ImGUI made things nice.

Valve uses that for sure Because when you look at the website you see Dota in the first screenshot And the first quote is from a Valve employee lol

RenderDoc was amazing for some of the early issues I had with OpenGL with how render targets and stuff needed to be implemented. Valve is such a weird company. Horrible stories from their employees. But at the same time they're doing so much good for the industry funneling money into great things.

valve have always wanted the best of the best, and being a flat company anyone who "isn't the best" among their colleagues are cast aside and eventually made redundant but because they have the best, they can make good shit
