Views on the brand "FOB Factory"?

Re: previous query on Barbour like jackets (non-waxed) - https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1362858435271463212/1362858435271463212 Stumbled upon this product - https://fobfactory.jp/products/f2361-moleskin-riding-jkt (local link - https://shopsydneys.com/collections/fob-factory-japan/products/black-riding-jacket-f2361) Any views on the brand quality etc. The above piece is an exact replica, at the risk of looking like an inferior copy. Still, don't want to compromise on quality of materials and construction while I am at it.

I own one shirt from them. They are sort of part of the newer generation of Japanese amekaji/vintage repro brands, along with other brands like Workers. They are going for a bit more of an unfinished, homemade feel and focusing entirely on Japanese materials and production. I think their stuff is good. You should be aware that it has a little bit of a rough finish, on purpose. So it's not quite the polished product you'd find on something like a barbour. I'm not sure if I'm communicating this well. I wouldn't go so far as to say that they feel like they're handmade, more than they've got sort of a rougher finish that gives a little hint of that. Does that make any sense?

Thank you, yes, this helps. Without the explanation, a first time buyer like me could mistake it for poor craftsmanship, which is unlikely to be the case with Japanese made stuff. Will check these out!
