Barbour like non-waxed 100% cotton Barn Jackets
Tried Barbour Bedale and Beaufort jackets for the first time in-store. It may sound like an oxymoron, although I liked the length and look of Bedale, not sure if I am into how the material feels. Further, I don't need rain resistance and don't really wish to get into rewaxing them over years. Outerwear care for me is a visit to the dry cleaners as needed.
Looking for recs on similar style jackets, with the following features:
- 100% cotton or natural materials, hence not the "casual" Bedale models, they did have those poly blend ones in store
- Contrast corduroy collar, hence not chore coats
- Two way zipper instead of buttons, hence not the LL Bean Barn Coat
It may be too constrained an ask, or perhaps I am being unnecessarily averse to waxed cotton feel and maintenance when everyone swears by them. Would like to get further opinions and potential options I should look at.

You don't need to rewax waxed cotton, you can literally just let it wear off (or hot wash it off). Could get a second hand bedale
Thanks, yes that's what I've understood, that the patina that develops over time is valued (similar to raw denim). And rewax to get water resistance back.
However, would still like to see if there are similar options before making the purchase.

Thanks, yeah, never got to try them because of in store availability (or my ignorance). But the designs overall are amazing for a lot of things given the price.
