Steam not launching on Bazzite 42

Since upgrading to Bazzite 42, Steam refuses to launch. Attempting to launch via CLI returns the following error:

Attempting to rebase to Bazzite 41 to see if the issue persists returns the following after rebooting:

I’ve already attempted the following:

Hardware: CPU AMD 7500f, GPU Nvidia RTX 4070

Unfortunately ended up having to reinstall and everything seems to be working now, not sure what was wrong with my install!

I think you need to be on stable steam....beta Bork's things. I could be wrong..... I can remember protontricks doesn't work with Steam-Beta.

Yeah I was on steam stable before, no idea if I accidentally switched to the beta branch somehow
