Fresh Bazzite install with Gigabyte AMD RX 9070 XT and coolercontrol or LACT can't control fans
Heya!
I just did a fresh install of Bazzite on my new PC. Been distro hopping around to see what distro would be able to control the GPU's fans. Tried coolercontrol and lact, but neither of them have an effect.
Any way to solve this, and is there anyone else having the same problem?

its likely that the gpu is too new and the app just havent supported it yet, you should probably ask the lact/coolercontrol dev about support for 9070xt

Their answer to this is:
"For RDNA4 devices - This depends on the kernel driver installed, but likely right now, even with 6.14, one will need to put load on the card to increase temps for the fan_curve to kick in. (zero_rpm controls not yet supported). With that noted exception, fan control should work on kernel >=6.14."
When will Bazzite get the 6.14 update?

probably soon with f42 if there is no regression
it should be releasing today i think but idk if the team are doing day 1 releases or not
