Cannot locate SVN Client
Hi,
I got KDESVN installed, SVN installed too.
which svn
gives me /usr/bin/svn ... but it is not there.
How is that possible ?26 Replies

How did you install kdesvn
the way to go would probably be a distrobox with kdesvn

KDESVN works fine btw, this is not the issue
I installed it with rpm-ostree

rpm-ostree doesn't pull all dependencies
use a distrobox and install kdesvn there
and if you need svn on the host then install it with brew
I sadly have to use svn (not with kdesvn tho) as well and that works well

That's what I did. I'll do the brew / box thing instead
actually, the box is pretty convenient
I guess I disregarded the best practices and just assumed that since all distros are using a apt ish command that it was fine with bazzite too
