i keep getting this too
ye its really annoying i just wanna play lol
hi look up core isolation in your windows search bar
ye
done that
you should have a slider memory integrity, enable it
hello computer science and ICT student here : )))
so, this is basically a security feature to protect the game from malware and unauthorized codes! (cheats)
so try maybe temporarily disabiling it through win + S, and type in security, go to device security and then core isolation details. (dont disable it for too long its SUPER important for your PC since it reduces security against kernel-level malware)
you can also try turning off memory integrity off and then restarting your PC
you could potentially add Game/Driver to HVCI Exclusions, then restart, then re-enable HVCI to see if the driver loads properly, and ONLY do this if you know the drivers safe
its not there
ok
look up msinfo32 in your windows search bar and send me a screenshot

where could you add the hvci exclusions?
do you know how to get into your bios
yes
ok go in there
alr
uhh i mean alot of it is alot of work but
oh ok np
i just delete the ones that are causing issues
didn't knew you could add exclusions
you could probably start with allowing unsigned drivers by disabling your secure boot but there are probably better ways to do it
if u dont know what ur doing its not the best but its quick
or
probably
replace those drivers
update GPU
peripheral drivers
I’m in my bios
okokok
wait
alright press F7
Alr
go to advanced -> cpu configuration
and enable intel virtualization technology
like this

Done
Done it
do F10+Enter
Ok
go back to the core isolation tab and you should have the memory integrity slider
Alr
It’s there and it’s on
is it telling you to restart
No
It was already on
ok you can play val without issues 👍
Ty
I will try it now
i have the slider
and its off
enable it
however when i turn it on and restart pc
it turns off again
ok
look up msinfo32 in your windows search bar and send me a screenshot

ok
do you know how to get into your bios
yes
go in there
i already turned svm on
in bios
yup nw
just go back in that svm tab
and disable pss support
and if you have cppc support enable it
once you're done do F10+Enter
kk
There’s no cppc support
But I’ve now disabled pss

@jpplol
yea np
it's if you have it, if you don't you can do F10+Enter (or save and exit) 👍
okay done
enable back memory integrity
Had this one before, add the registry entry to enable VBS if it still turns off after restarts
reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /v "EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity" /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
okay it stays on now
should i try launching val now
yes
it'll work
i swr vanguard is gonna want my debit card details next or some shit
are you on windows home
Uh no? :val_Hampter:
ok
Why are u asking me that all of a sudden 😭
had someone on windows home and memory integrity always turned off on restart
I never had the issue
I meant like i have seen the same shi before
i think the EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity registry key only works for windows pro users
Idk, i am not that nerdy 🤓
i love smart ppl
@jpplol ty for the help
it worked! <3
you're welcome 👍
Back off! That’s my bf :val_Madge:
