and also holy shit i cant exit ads
for ads i can suggest using a private dns resolver with adblocking features, so sth like adguard
waydroid > settings > search for private dns/dns

waydroid initialization gui isnt reliable on fedora silverblue
just follow the instructions on bazzite docs, its the most comprehensive & consistent
i want the official gapps image instead of patching vanilla
then im gonna initialize from waydroig ci

check ujust --choose and review the script for setup-waydroid
youll see the commands that will run if you select initialize waydroid
then just adjust the commands with the system and vendor OTA URLs and stuff with what you need
since its a read only file system im just gonna execute what commands the script executes
i mean ujust setup-waydroid launches sudo waydroid init with the vanilla image urls, if you want the gapps image just append -s gapps to the relevant init command
ujust --choose lets you review the command/script on the right panel, you just need to check from there
