dont have your coding folder on cloud apps
they will lock and do all sort of weird things when u run/build/etc
instead you use git/github to keep your projects sane
and with point of recovery
Ohh ok
Should I upload each to github?
ideally github or one of its competitiors yes
Sounds good I could do that
control versioning apps work different then just uploading/syncing it to cloud
they offer a lot more helpful things to fix or go back in your code
Thanks
I don't even know if its synced though that's my problem in my folder
I have onedrive but all my folders aren't in it
So I'm confused about why it's even showing that, maybe it just synced the folder itself?
yeah one driver is not recommended for things like visual studio etc
they clash with each other purpose
Create a Git repo or work remotely with a provider - Visual Studio ...
Create a repo in Visual Studio by using Git, browse to an Azure DevOps repo, or work remotely with the Git provider of your choice.
Ahhhhh
Can I just like uninstall one drive
you can try
but microsoft is a pain with it and installs it back
just dont use it on the folders your use for coding and it should be fine
Okay is there a way to make sure
make sure of what
that it isnt in the drive: like for example the project was in a folder in winter 2025

I have no idea I have not used one drive in years
But I think everything under Temi - Personal is in one drive
ohhhhh
you will have to look into the settings
and see which folders its using
okok sounds good
yeah and this all happened when I was working with files
OK IT WORKED
