First wide fit pants + baracuta g9 - hows the fit?
The wide pants are hard for my mind to adjust to, too wide? How's the jacket look?

pants are for sure not too wide, i think it looks good

Where are these pants supposed to sit? It's too tight at my waist, snug at the hips
It looks tapered in the pic but it's really wide throughout
wherever they feel best, rise is a social construct

imo wearing them with shoes on will likely counter how wide they seem and possibly inform how high to wear them
What do you think about the jacket?
jacket looks fine. if you're worried about fit it would make sense to have a shot of it zipped up
looks great. They aren't that wide at all.
I recently bought some wider/bagggy pants and jeans after.years of only slim fit. I too am still getting used to them. Just a straight fit pair of jeans looked so huge to my eye at first.
I wore a slim fit pair of pants to work this week and felt they looked almost skin tight lol. So I'm starting to adjust.
It's the ribbing that's throwing me off, and sleeves
I got the mom seal of approval, she loved them as soon as she saw me wearing it lol

the fit is fine, that ribbing is intentional, as it's meant to reinforce the short length
Sorry to resurrect this, my self consciousness is kicking in here, just wondering if you think the pants are sitting too low? Any higher and it's too tight on my waist - does it still look good?
it looks fine, I think they are sitting well with where the pants end, any higher and it would be kinda cropped
but if they are too small in the waist to sit where you want then you couls size up
