Booting into black screen, TTY doesn't open

Running an AMD 9070XT with the KDE deck image. Last night I was in desktop mode when the wifi suddenly stopped working and the operating system got all buggy and slow. I turned off the computer and power cycled it. The next time I booted it, it shows me the POST screen and the boot screen with the bazzite logo and loading spinner. After that completed, I just see a black screen. Ctrl+Alt+F2 doesn't pull up the terminal. Ctrl+Alt+Del causes me to see the boot screen with the bazzite logo and loading spinner for about a second before the computer restarts. GRUB menu shows 4 options (2 sets of KDE ostree:0 and ostree:1). The first set boots into the black screen. The second set of options fial to boot with errors that it can't find "linux16" and some other file as well. Not sure what else to do besides reinstall bazzite but obviously I would like to avoid that. Thanks.
