siyuan: Javascript access for google-analytics.com and googletagmanager.com on my SiYuan install?

Hello community, I've startet to use the SiYuan app on my local Runtipi installation. Within my Firefox browser I installed the NoScript add-on. Now, when I look at the NoScript info box in the Firefox Toolbar I can see that the domains google-analytics.com and googletagmanager.com would like to get access to my Firefox browser. What's that? Why do they want to get access to my local installation? SiYuan is open source software, right? I don't want them to analyze my app usage!

Hey! Based on the information you've provided, it seems SiYuan developers have chosen to include analytics in their app. Many open source projects use analytics. They most likely use Google Analytics to get an insight into how many users they have and maybe some info about the devices you use. If you don't agree with this, or do not want to load Google's scripts, you can do so with the NoScript add-on which you already use, or another solution. You can also open an issue in their repository if you want to discuss this problem or ask them to remove analytics. There is nothing that Runtipi developers can do about this. Sorry!
