What effect does mouse acceleration have on gaming experience? In gaming, mouse acceleration can disrupt the ability to aim accurately and make quick, precise movements. This can lead to frustration and hinder the overall gaming experience, particularly in fast-paced and competitive games.
But what does mouse acceleration do? The mouse acceleration feature translates the speed with which you move your mouse into the acceleration of the cursor on the screen. For instance, if you move your mouse quickly, mouse acceleration will make your cursor move further
what
mouse acceleration should be turned off
u didn’t take into accountability the raw input buffer setting
raw input buffer only matters if u have 2000hz +
it is right for windows but on Valorant if you have 10 mouse sensitivity on windows it won’t affect the Val sens
mouse acceleration still impacts valorant though no?
well didn’t know this, but afaik windows sens/windows mouse accel do not affect Val sens
rawaccel uses a kernel driver to add acceleration for exemple, so it affects Valorant sens
aint no way
While disabling mouse acceleration might benefit some games, it doesn't make a difference in VALORANT. The game already uses raw input, taking your mouse inputs directly from the mouse instead of Windows. This means that any changes you make to your mouse settings in Windows won't affect your gameplay in VALORANT.
