Starter plan pay as you go
I'd like to prevent my database from getting paused on the starter plan. I have a new app and unpredictable usage so I'm not quite ready for pro. I'd rather just pay to cover anything that exceeds the free tier usage.
So do I just need to add a payment method to prevent the pause or is there something else I need to do?

usage is spiking but the $50 per month isn't really necessary.

You would need to add a payment method and then upgrade to Starter plan (Pay as you go)
Once you do this, your usage will not be paused after you exhaust the free 100K queries
does upgrading here do the same? would like to keep scaling to see how that goes before upgrading to a Pro plan
