Discord in Game mode.
Hello! I tried bazzite for first time this week, Im trying the HTPC version on the gaming PC next to the 4k TV and its just beautiful! but... I miss a way of launching discord automatically and/or easily. Any hint? also, I tried to launch it first and then go back to game mode... but it closes every other open app (including discord). How did you solve this issue?

You need to go to desktop mode and add it as a non steam game. You can do this via steams desktop UI by going to games-add non steam game and selecting discord. Or if on KDE plasma you can simply find discord in your program list and right click it and select add to steam.
Then switch over to game mode it will be in your library under non steam games. And you can launch it from there. Then use the main side menu to return to home and launch whatever game. And then you can switch between the two at will with them both running concurrently.
Might need to tweak steam. I controller settings for discord to get it working best....

I'd also recommend using decky and steamgriddb so you can get discord some proper art in steam easily! Enjoy

Decky loader is awesome definitely check it out. There's an option to install it easily in Bazzite portal
And you can access it with the right side access menu
Plug icon on the bottom. Loads of useful plugins that allow various things. Including wide customization of game mode! Check it out!

It's not in discover. There's an option to set it up in 'bazzite portal' which is an application. Pre installed on the desktop. You can find it in your list of programs
But the terminal command installs it also.
You can access it via game mode quick access menu.
Like the right side menu where you can do things like change frame limit, toggle VRR etc its at the bottom tab. Should see a symbol like a plug
