@Cappy Ishihara @jade yo so I messed up
@ultramarine dev @jade yo so I messed up, ucore is using ccos, can we move that back? Happy to figure out a way to share a base image but I wasn't aware bsherman was using this and I broke his world.

Backstory... CCOS was intended to be the upstrem of a CentOS based uCore ... similar to how Fedora CoreOS is upstream today...
at it's inception, I did not realize SCOS even existed... so it's currently based on steam10-bootc images, with a PR to switch to SCOS.
I've been short on contribution time for a while now, but this is and getting ZFS for CentOS kernels added to akmods are my two top goals.
Jorge and I hadn't communicated on this topic in a while, and I'm out of town and a bit out of touch the past several days.
oh boy yeah i can send this back to you
do you want me to send the archived copy
was it transferred to you as archive and you unarchived?
no i made an archive once it was transfered to me
transfered copy -> https://github.com/ultramarine-linux/ultramarine-kanopy
archived copy -> https://github.com/FyraLabs-Graveyard/ccos

ok, i'm confused at how github is doing things right now... ublue-os/ccos redirects to https://github.com/Ultramarine-Linux/ultramarine-kanopy
yes that's the repo as transfered
that's what I'd like to restore.
sending it back over
and if you want to fork for some reason of course you are welcome, but I'd also like to add collaborators and get some more traffic in the repo issues to document my plans for things... I had a lot of ideas and motivation after SCALE then I got 100% pulled away with life/work at home after 😬
i need access to the ublue org to transfer
what's your github
nothingneko
shit we're outta seats
oops
are you able to add me to yours ?
i can add you to the um org
yeah

thank you very much

i did nothing was probalby still partially in a "transferring" state on github backend
wrong org :dread:
too tired for this
helo
my idea was to simply create a bootable ISO image that can accept noninteractive install scripts of some kind (like ignition)
i'm getting very confused now
#Live ISO Thread time
i'm the primary ucore maintainer. no one has directly talked to me about an alternative ucore installer. I'm still a but unsure if i want something like that as part of ucore proper.
alternatively, I'm quite happy if you want to develop that as an option for others who want it, but I would view it as an unofficial install method at this time.
all I need is a way to build a live ISO out of bootc images tbh
the installer can be implemented easily
I'm not sure what you are asking of me.
At the moment though, I need to get some sleep. I'll catch up tomorrow if more discussion.
it's fine, it's just https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1348452653805342942 but with ucore as the image so it's independent from coreos-installer and friends
