I feel like the tie provides some good contrast to the rest of the outfit, but I'm not too sure about it

i like the idea but would wear a less shiny tie instead
Yeah, I think the tie is too shiny and formal.
shoe choice will also impact things, whether it's loafers or derbies or sneakers
I was planning on black avignons
that feels like it would work imo
