Help Please - Gaming Mode Zoomed in
When I boot up my system or return to gaming mode from desktop the whole interface is now far too zoomed it. I have tried adjusting resolution, entering external display safe mode, changed resolution settings in desktop mode. And run the "ujust fix-reset-steam" script. All of which have had no effect.
Can anyone help me figure out how to return my initial screen back to its original zoom setting??

looks like perhaps CSS Loader themes
Where do I find or look at my CSS loader themes?
open the QAM, it'll be under the plug icon with the Decky plugins
if you don't have themes, then check under Settings, Display, Scaling
I found it in the decky plugins. However i dont see scaling as an option in the settings. Also i dont have any themes downloaded at the moment
My decky loader did recently have some fatal error and I had to uninstall it and then reinstall it. This zoom problem popped up around the same time decky loader had its problem
Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the decky loader thing but didnt change the zoom problem
your SteamOS settings doesn't have the scaling option?
Oh gotcha I was looking in CSS loader settings
Yes steam settings has a scaling option. However i have adjusted this many times and it only seems to change my scaling in games not the home menu
mine scales the settings menu and the home screen
Er well I guess i have tried changing under display and advanced the magnifier scale
Not sure where else to find scaling

Whoa yah that option doesnt exist for me

I'm not sure what had to be done different for the Ally and why that's not there or how to make it appear. are you within game mode or desktop big picture?
In game mode.
So I found a sort of work around. Just Annoying AF
If i dock it then undock it. The home resizes itself back to what its supposed to be.
But reseting system boots it back into its zoomed in state where it needs to be docked and un docked again :/
does HHD manage scaling? it sounds like a scaling matter.
I cant find a scaling option in HHD. I tweaked an option that only appears when docked and it seems to be holding steady upon reboots right now.
It may not be the end all be all answer but this at least has me going in the right direction finally. Thank you for your help!
glad you got it worked out
@Dokja-90594 @termdisc go dev mode activate show display scaling settings for internal display and then go to display settings and change scale user interface
Thanks Ill give that a try!
Put it around the middle that should be the scar back to normal
Yah that did the trick. Thanks!
No worries
