Basic Periodicity Doubt
They have given enthalpy=602 and first electron affinity=-enthalpy=-141. So shouldn't (based on the data given), the second electron affinity be -462?

What website is this btw?
The coaching one.
Oh
Like, it does have errors many-a-times.
its second one na
Can you elaborate?
hold on a sec
lemme confirm if my logic is right
ahh wait a sec the energy req to remove both the e is 603
and the energy needed to add one e is 141
Remove both electrons??
yh it should be d
weird
its o2-
It's starting from O
Anyways, I also got d
This is weird
Ig they put affinity instead of enthalpy for removal of 1e-
wait a sec we hve to turn o- to 02- here
It should be EGE yeah, because it's going to become more stable.
So proceeds via loss of energy
so both will be added na? so tht way it should be a
to add 2 e in O the energy is 603
and to add one is 141
but to go from O- to O2-
we have to add na both enthaply
That gives this, I think.

are 141 minus me hai
usko rearrnge karoge to + hogs.
Shouldn't it be like affinity is -141, so enthalpy would be - of that?
.. hnn
