black summer tailoring
howdy
I just bought concert tickets for days from mid may in nyc to late august in phoenix. the “dress code” for the artist is “formal black attire expected” as the concert is funeral themed. i want to cunt it up and not overheat, so i was thinking flowey/ lightweight black tailoring with a black tank top and jewelry, or something vaguely cunty but unique enough to stand out. budget <200$, but i have unique measurements (42l, 33 waist) so idek. any tips? big fan of 90s armani but i think thats out of my price range

i also love 70s style suiting, and western style suits. i just love flared/bootcut pants
vintage armani but not by armani, there's tons of random vintage tailoring out there on ebay in awesome cuts that fit the same vibe from random makers. i have a random black DB i found at goodwill for $10 by some defunct Italian manufacture. its great
linen is great if its super hot but a lighter wool is still going to be wearable if just a bit warm
cool!!
what do we think about pairing it with vintage wrangler wranglers modified to have extra flare
could work for sure blazers and jeans is a solid look, if you find a whole suit it could be nice as well but depends
fwiw i’ve never found a complete suit anywhere that fits my measurements
big chest + small waist + long legs :(
where would u recommend armani esque tailoring hitting in length? normally wear jackets with a 32.5 length, but i hear this stuff is supposed to be oversized?
honestly is gonna be up to you, its for sure not gonna hit super short but i have a few jackets like that on sits super long the other pretty close to "normal" suit length i think they both look great. really up to you
