Q. The incorrect order of bond dissociation energy will be : A. H – H > Cl – Cl > Br – Br B. Si – Si > P – P > Cl – Cl (Correct Answer) C. C – C > N – N > O – O D. H – Cl > H – Br > H – I Can anyone please explain why?

Explanation which I received: as we proceed from left to right in the period, we know that electronegativity increases and atomic size decreases so bond becomes stronger hence order of Bond Dissociation Energy will be Si-Si < P-P < Cl-Cl +solved @iTeachChem
