I have Windows 11 on my PC but cannot go beyond TPM 1.2
Recently, I upgraded my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and when I tried launching the Valorant, it crashed after a couple of minutes and I got a message from Vanguard saying that it can only work with TPM 2.0 enabled.
I did some research, and figured that the TPM was enabled but only the version 1.2. Back when I had Windows 10, there was no such issue.
I tried updating the TPM but it was of no use because it still kept the version 1.2. Because of this, I can't play Valorant anymore.
By any chance, does anyone know if there's a way to fix this issue?
Thank you in advance.

We can update the tpm
Oh, I already tried updating it... that's the thing
Tho on site it says (2x2) not sure if that makes any difference
Are you sure you did it correctly
My processor just doesn't support TPM 2.0
I’m looking at the support list rn as we speak and it’s right there
Yes. I updated the driver
Press windows key + r
Type tpm.msc

Okay, understood. Will do it right away
Basically, it says that it's ready to be used
But the version installed is 1.2
Yes dw
Now open control panel
Search for bitlocker
Show ss

Alright
Download and install this
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81900.exe
also let it install in its default path
What is this?
My PC is lagging rn, omg
It’s the firmware to update the tpm

From the right click on “Clear TPM”
And restart when prompted
