i got option 3 by just substituting P_mirror = -R/2 instead of adding whatever extra minus they're pulling

so just make the image at the centre of curvature

Pm = -2/R so i directly put that their end result was Pm = +2/R since concave ka focal negative hove they put an extra minus sign and minus minus became plus they substituted P = -1/fm = -1/(-R/2) = 2/R i did P = 1/fm = -2/R unfortunately, there are options to cater to both

so actual formula should be P_combined = 2P_lens - P_mirror right i assume we change the formula rather than the entire sign convention
