scopebuddy makes hunt showdown freeze!

I want to enable HDR for Hunt Showdown but Gamescope and Scopebuddy make the game freeze after a few seconds. I can enable HDR though and it works fine till it freezes. Tried different Proton: GE, Experimental and Hotfix! I have the following Launch Option in Steam:

 XDG_DEFAULT_LAYOUT=no scb -f -W 3840 -H 2160 --hdr-enabled -- %command% --launcher-skip
