closing the project and reopening it seems to have fixed it would clicking build soultion do the same thing?
eh sometimes it needs a "push" to make generated ui code, it's sad that wpf is still in this state
Yep, it's a complete brain anti-pattern. You see a build error anywhere else in .NET land and you fix it then try to build.
If you see a build error in WPF, Avalonia etc you swap them around. Proper headache 🙂
