I'm about to buy my first domain from Namecheap and had a couple of beginner questions:
1️⃣ How easy is it to connect a Namecheap domain to Vercel and Render?
2️⃣ Can I set up a custom email with my domain for free, without paying for Namecheap’s email hosting?
I know these might be basic questions, but I’d really appreciate any insights! Thanks in advance. 😊

Haven't used Render, but with Vercel it's very easy to connect a domain to your project. You'll just have to add one or two DNS records to your domain via the Namecheap dashboard.
I use the Zoho Mail free plan. You can connect one custom domain and create up to 5 users....
